Fate

Hey guys, something terrible happened today. I went snowbaording up in PA at Jack Frost and it was with my family friends and their parents. Me and my friends had started learning how to snowboard and have gotten pretty good at it. We were previously skiers but thought it would be fun to try something new at. With the success that we had obtained through the lessons, we thought it was a lot more fun than skiing so I think we are going to decided to stick with that and with that news, two of my friends fathers decided to start snowboarding too. Today was their second lesson, probably me and my friends 6-8th but that's ok. As we reached the lift, we decided to to partner up. Me and my friend and the instructor with his dad. We went before them by 2 carts and as we went up all we heard was "Oh my God, are you ok?" and when we turned around, we had saw that my friends dad dropped 20 feet from the lift to the floor. The lift's chair had not been prepared to carry people and the seat was flipped up, so as they were going up the lift, the instructor and my friends dad were trying to put it down so they could sit and as a result his dad could not hold on tight enough and fell. It was an extremely scary sight. All the thoughts running through my head and as I turned all I saw were screams of "Dad, dad!" and tears. He wasn't moving and we were scared out of our minds.

He is in the hospital now with a broken collar bone, collapsed lung, and back pains. They are running more tests tomorrow but I'm asking for everyone's prayers.

Keep him close to your hearts everyone, I appreciate it.

LifeHouse

So I just got tickets for the lifehouse concert the other day! Its on April 1st, 2008. I'm so freaking excited!! I'm going with 3 of my friends and its at Roseland Ballroom in the city. I just can't wait. I'm thinking about going to Bamboozle and i'm working on getting tickets for All Time Low.... you gotta love Alex. That's it for now, have to finish my SAT stuff.

Almost Break!

So I think this is the first time that i'll actually get to have a relaxing path to my break! I usually have shit loads of stuff to do that would be all due this week because we are having Christmas vacation soon. I don't get out until Friday........but this time I don't have much. I have alot to do over the break though, like start my study guides for my midterm that i have in late January and I have 2 papers to do and also SAT HW for Chem and Math. I should also get started on my ACT, which I really haven't touched yet.... not so good. Anyway, I hope everyone is going to have the merriest Christmas this year, while i'll be in Canada... and its supposed to be the coldest winter to come since 15 years ago... what joy....

So, currently i'm trying to figure out how to put on webaps onto my iphone. Today I had an extremely busy schedule. I volunteered at the Palisades mall to help benefit the Hospice Rockland County home for the terminally ill. They had a music marathon. I hope you guys donated! Then I had tutoring, and then tutoring AGAIN. I don't think i'm heading into school tomrrow, hope it ices over the roads, but either way..... I have to go take the SAT at Huntington so I can finally start my tutoring for the english section, and I get to finally start my 6 hour driving coarse tomorrow! I'm so excited you have no idea. I've waited for this for almost a month! Can't wait to finally be on the road. I hope everyone had a great day!

"One considers the end..."

Niccolo Machiavellin once wrote that "one considers the end". Everyone thinks about what would happen if we did something. we always will wonder what if? Then what? What happens after we make this decision? These thoughts will cross our minds in every decision we make. Sometimes the mental response is an answer and sometimes we choose to seek for the answer and sometimes, we even choose to ignore it. No matter what "end" we are pondering about, it could change the way we live the rest of our lives.
